AI agents are different, but the fundamental question remains the same as always

AI agents can review information, make decisions, trigger workflows, and support complex processes. However, they must also respond effectively to incomplete data, system outages, unforeseen scenarios, regulatory requirements, and errors that could impact the business.

AI Regulation in LATAM: A Brake or a Catalyst?

Artificial intelligence has already moved past the experimental phase. For Latin American companies, the challenge now lies in how to adopt it with speed, traceability, and trust.

AI doesn’t save money on its own.

One of the most widespread misconceptions in 2025 and 2026 has been this line of reasoning: “If AI can do part of the work, I can reduce headcount and reallocate that budget to AI licenses.”

Who is making sure AI-generated code actually works?

If your company is already using AI to write code, you have a very tight window of time before quality issues start showing up in your live systems—or worse, hurting your customers’ experience.

What to Do with Your VMware Infrastructure? The Hybrid Strategy Your Business Needs to Know

In many organizations across Latin America, discussions around technological infrastructure have become increasingly uncomfortable. Market conditions have shifted significantly, and the decisions that were sidelined two or three years ago are now carrying far more weight.

Banking in Transformation: Insights from the Banking Tech Summit Panama

When we arrived at the Banking Tech Summit Panama 2026 as sponsors, we didn’t show up to learn the basics of AI or to discover that outdated legacy systems are a headache.

On the outskirts of Envigado, surrounded by green paths and morning mist, a man works in silence. In his hands, petals are not just flowers—they’re strokes of history. Jorge Iván Salazar doesn’t need algorithms or screens to create a powerful image. With only the help of his family, neighbors, and friends—and with the same precision an engineer uses to fine-tune a system—he carefully places each rose, each chrysanthemum, each daisy. He’s been a silletero for 20 years, and this time, he’s carrying more than flowers—he’s carrying a vision.

A world map, a name that has traveled across three continents through hundreds of projects, and a clear purpose: to keep transforming through technology. This is the flower arrangement we designed at Q-Vision Technologies to celebrate our 21st anniversary—flowers, tradition, and pride.

A global brand with a local soul

For over two decades, Q-Vision has been crafting advanced solutions in artificial intelligence, automation, and software quality. We operate on the cutting edge of technology, yet our roots remain firmly planted in the land where we were born.

This year, we chose to celebrate that duality in a meaningful way: by taking part in the Feria de las Flores, one of Colombia’s most iconic cultural events, with a silleta of our own—handcrafted by local farmers—because we know that true connections only flourish within the community.

Each flower, a living data point

Jorge Iván, along with his family, friends, and neighbors, lives in the rural village of Pantanillo and every August he proudly parades in the traditional category of the Silleteros Parade. In his everyday life, he’s a farmer, and when he’s not tending to the land, he’s nurturing memories in the form of silletas. “This isn’t just any silleta,” he tells us. “Here, we’re not just assembling a design; we’re telling a story.”

And he’s absolutely right.

Beautifying is also innovating

Technology unites us, but it’s the art of simplicity that transforms us. Beautifying our city is part of our purpose. That’s why we work every day to leave a positive mark—in the products we build, the communities we support, and the symbolic actions that define us.

Today, we want to thank everyone who made this silleta possible: Jorge Iván, his family, neighbors, and friends for their artisanal wisdom; our team, for believing in ideas that bloom; and our city, for inspiring us to keep growing.

21 years later, still blooming

Today, Q-Vision blooms not only in Medellín but also in Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, the United States, Spain, and every corner of Colombia.

We create Advanced AI Solutions with a human focus. But beyond what we do, what truly matters is how we do it—honoring our roots, showcasing our homeland, and connecting innovation with identity.

That’s why this silleta is more than a gesture of gratitude to our land; it’s a declaration—of where we come from, how we work, and what we aim to keep sowing.

Thank you for walking this path with us. Thank you for being part of this ever-growing garden of ideas. Thank you for blooming with Q-Vision.
